As humans, we have endless opportunities to tell our dog we love them. But how we know they feel the same? From Bely scratches to feeding them, we do a lot to show our dogs exactly how much we care. Certainly, there are clear signs you can look for. Your pet can’t bring home with a bouquet of flowers, but he might bring you his favourite toy/stick. And that’s the sign of deep affection.
If your pets shows all the following behaviour, then certainly all these signs point to his or her unwavering LOVE for you.
HE GOES CRAZY WHEN YOU COME BACK HOME
We’ve seen this before, when you walk in the front door and you are eagerly greeted by your pet. Tail Wagging with the toy in his mouth and with lots of jumping and licking. This is love in its truest form.
This shows the excitement of your dog to see you in any way he can. However, if your dog to do this each time someone walks into the house, he might be a bit—promiscuous.
EYEBROW MOVEMENT
A dog loves you isn’t all about tail wagging. Instead, it’s all about facial expressions. In recent research on dogs, as they were introduced with a stranger, parent, and an item that they rejected off. When seeing their parents the dogs immediately lifted their eyebrows especially on the left. When they saw a stranger they significantly have less facial expression, and it was movement of the right brow. On the contrary, when seeing someone they are bonded and they knew to, the dogs shifted their left ear back. If it was an item that they rejected/dislike, they shifted their right. According to study, dogs are likely to be more reserved when meeting someone new or seeing something they dislike.
WHEN THEY REALLY LOOKS AT YOU
As per the well-known dog expert, when your dog looks in you in the eye, he is “Hugging You with His Eyes”. This is because when dog looks at you, OXYTOCIN is released, which is the same hormone that helps new mother bond with their babies. This eye contact indicates that your dog’s love for you.
HE YAWNS WITH YOU
As we know yawning is contagious, and may be experienced this when a friend yawn during conversation. Even reading about yawning can make you yawn. But actually dogs also experience the same sensation.
As per research, yawning indicates empathy in us. This is because humans are too empathetic, they sense the yawn in their peer. It is impossible to measure the empathy of a dog. But it seems likely that yawning symbolizes a bond to know once.
Mostly dogs were more likely to yawn when their owners yawned, as opposed to a stranger. Hard to believe? You can test this at home. Just don’t be discouraged if your dog doesn’t yawn back immediately – he may not recognized the yawn, and instead wonder why you’re showing him your grin.
IT’S TRUE LOVE
There are many ‘Scientific’ ways to confirm your dog loves you, but of course these reaction vary from dog-to-dog.
